Just a long bus ride towards the capital

Hey just came back from visiting Angkor wat, said in easy words its pretty awesome, I almost got caught by the police again for climbing up on the temples, but I escaped and it was worth it! We had a nice tuktuk driver that drove us around to all the temples and I have never seen so many Korean tourists with their hats and gloves and masks.. After a swim in the pool of our hotel I have been deliberating on maybe going to visit Vietnam instead of starting to write my thesis, I asked my mum for advice and she supported my idea of chillin' with school and experience more! I like my mum. Even though I'm traveling with a bunch of people I don't talk that much, I think a lot. About my life my future and ask myself if I have learned something. Doesn't really feel like that but maybe I have. I mostly try to get to know myself better, it's not an easy task. I also miss home a lot. I miss my family, Italy, my life in Linköping and my good friends. I miss having something stable like knowing that I'm gonna stay in one place more than one year, to have a routine and a plan about the future. But at the same time that sounds extremely boring, and I can't wait to finish my bachelor to move to the next city.

There is one thing I really want to do, I want to finish all the projects I have started. I want to make something out of it. I have been filming a lot during my trip and I'd like to make something cool out of it. I'd like to be braver and talk more with people. Today the last day here in angkorwat I came up with a new project. Making a movie about the tuktuk drivers, because their life thrills me, and because they are normal people trying to get along like everybody else. I'd like to show the world their reality with beautiful pictures.
Maybe I should just stay another few days to define my project and get more material, but maybe I should just continue my trip.

Unfortunately uploading pictures is too slow for this connection ... I'll do it as soon as I have a faster connection. Anyway I'm in Cambodia now. We arrived yesterday night after a veeery long bus trip. I'm really excited to see the temples!! From what I have seen from the bus Cambodia seems richer than Laos even if it might not be the case. The houses are similar but I really like the Cambodian style. Wooden houses on poles, with a big space to be outside before entering. From the side you see that every room has one own roof with small decorations. It's hard to describe, I'll try to take a picture. It would be really interesting to go inside and see how the rooms are.

Since we are most of the time in places with a lot of tourists prices are much higher than for locals but you can't really do anything about it because they all make the same high prices for tourists.

So Cambodian people so far seem to be nice even if they have the most disturbing voice ever, and you hAve the feeling that they always try to rip you off.

Chillin' in Laos' chilled capital

I woke up at 3.30 to get to the airport and I sat with a nice Korean guy who gave me tips about Laos! This place is amazing the weather is perfect the nature is nice and I'm laying eating at the river! I could stay here for a looooong while

Last day in KL, so far I found the city pretty boring and not much to see, but since today I love the atmosphere. Today was cool, I have been walking a lot and I ended up at the mosque and at the museum of Islamic art, it was really interesting! They had exibitions about islamic calligraphy, architecture clothes and even weapons. Then I met 2 Finnish girls that sowed me another part of KL, I ate an amazing dinner at a simple restaurant with plastic chairs and vegetarian food, but it was sooo good you can't imagine. On my way back to the hostel I met a Malay guy who had lived his whole life in KL and and never visited another country. He worked as a chef at a 4 star hotel and he had just finished his shift. He showed me the central market and finally I understood what the symbol on the one MR bill is, it's a kite! And these balls made of woven bamboo that you can find in all the tourist shops , that's a Malaysian sport a mix between badminton and football 😊


Btw I really like the contrasts of this city, skyscrapers side to side with old houses from the colonial time repainted with colors that remind me of a Hindu temple. what a mix!

Quest'anno è iniziato alle 7:30 con una colazione sul mare e partenza da Langkawi verso cameron highlands. Abbiamo passato una Bella settimana tra spiaggia e cascate e giri in motorino! Ho fatto un po di video potenti Che non vedo l'ora di pacioccare e mettere assieme. Oggi abbiamo viaggiato tutto il giorno ma non siamo riusciti ad arrivare a destinazione dormiremo una notte qua ad Ipoh e domani continuiamo! Ora un po di foto

Hello my friends! I'm chillin in Malaysia and it's pretty awesome! Love the climate and the people are so nice. I have never seen so many fixies on an island and when you find t-shirts with a big heart and written " fixed gear for life" in the tourist shops you have the proof that it's getting mainstream!
Anyway I'll go to the beach now :-)
